Maker Safety gives you a branded delegate portal, automatic sign-off PDFs, and built-in D&TA accreditation support — so your course time goes into teaching, not chasing forms.
150+ teachers already trained through the platform · UK D&TA-ready
teachers have completed their safety sign-off through the Maker Safety online system.
No spreadsheets, no chasing paper forms in a filing cabinet.
Register and get your own branded delegate portal — your name, your organisation, ready in minutes.
Send each candidate a link. They work through the standards checklist for their course on their own device.
You review their submission, sign off, and their certified PDF is generated and emailed automatically.
Delegates see your name and organisation, not ours — on their own subdomain.
Sign off a submission and the finished, locked PDF is emailed straight to your delegate.
Accredited courses map straight onto the Design & Technology Association's own standards.
Attach handouts and reference material per course — delegates see them right on their checklist.
Find any past candidate by name, email, or school in seconds — not by digging through email threads.
Collect only what you need — including the option to skip home addresses on D&TA courses, since D&TA already holds them.
Delegates complete and submit their own checklist. You review and sign — nothing to print, scan, or post.
Delegates fill in their portal on a phone, tablet, or laptop — no app to install.
Every sign-off carries your name and signature. Maker Safety is the paperwork, not the assessment.
Your portal, resources, and D&TA settings carry over from one course date to the next.
Registration takes a couple of minutes. We review each request personally before your portal goes live.
Request Access →Pricing is invoiced per submission on a Starter or Pro plan, agreed with you directly — there's no fixed public list price yet. Request access and we'll confirm your rate before you're live.
No. Any D&T or workshop safety course can run through the portal. D&TA accreditation support is there if your course needs it, not a requirement to sign up.
Only what's needed to run the course is collected, and you can turn off home-address collection for D&TA-accredited courses since D&TA already holds it. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
A registration request is usually reviewed and approved within a day or two. Once approved, your portal is ready as soon as you set a password.
Each trainer registers their own portal today. If you need several trainers under one organisation, mention it when you request access and we'll talk through the best setup.
